Employee Recognition

Rutgers provides a number of outlets and programs that encourage and promote employee recognition.

The President's Recognition Program

The President’s Recognition Program, an annual event organized and implemented by the University Human Resources Department, acknowledges the exceptional contributions of university staff employees – as individuals and as members of teams – in the areas of service and collaboration.

Each of the university’s diverse and dedicated staff members play a vital role in fulfilling the university’s mission of education, research, and public service to the citizens of our state. Staff enthusiasm and commitment are indispensable and integral to the life of the university. In all areas, on all three campuses, staff members perform a vast array of duties ensuring that the operations of the university are carried out in a swift, courteous, and professional manner. The President’s Recognition Program is the university’s opportunity to honor the outstanding achievements worthy of distinction.

Anyone currently affiliated with Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey – faculty, staff, or student, may nominate a staff member. You do not have to work in the same unit as the nominee or have any particular work relationship/association with the nominee.
