Geology Museum - The Geology Museum is an interesting place to spend a lunch break, a chance to expose children to geology and anthropology, weekend entertainment at open houses, and special events. Financial Planning - Free Investing for Your Future Financial Planning home study course is available online. The course covers important investment principles and resources including financial worksheets and planning tools.

Rutgers Federal Credit Union (RFCU) - The Rutgers Federal Credit Union provides a variety of financial services including savings, checking and holiday accounts; auto and mortgage loans; home banking; Visa credit cards; debit cards and MAC cards; and financial counseling in convenient on-campus locations.

Dining and Shopping

Computer/Technology Purchases - FindTech Connections has been developed to connect the Rutgers community to sources for institutional and personal technology purchases. The site contains links to online stores for vendors of Rutgers' most common computer technology, providing students, faculty, and staff with educational discounts and direct ordering capabilities. FindTech also provides information regarding options for computer repair and purchasing software at educational discounts.

Dining Services - Low-cost, nutritionally sound meals in numerous convenient on-campus locations. Employees can also take advantage of Dining Services staff talents and order cakes and/or catering for personal events at reasonable costs.

Rutgers Club - Employees have convenient access to high-quality well-priced restaurant at the Rutgers Club. Great location for entertaining business associates or friends and hosting special events. Facilities and Services

Bus Service - The University Bus Service is free and convenient transportation, reduction of wear and tear on one’s automobile. For employees who can use mass transit and elimination of parking fees.

Conference Services - Employees can make low-cost arrangements for on-campus conferences, retreats, camps, and special events for their community, religious, sports, or other organizations during the summer months through Conference Services. Conferees are able to use all available Rutgers facilities: residence and dining halls, classrooms, recreational services, etc. Call 732-445-1004 or visit their web site.

Kirkpatrick Chapel - The Kirkpatrick Chapel is a unique historic non-denominational chapel in convenient location available for weddings of any faith (including civil & interfaith), baptisms, concerts, programs and memorial services.  Browse their web site for interior photographs of the Chapel.  Special rates apply to memorial services only (please call for further details). Libraries - The Libraries provide convenient and free access to one of the best academic research library systems in the country. Services include delivery of materials between Rutgers libraries and an interlibrary loan system for borrowing materials from libraries outside Rutgers, as well as reference assistance and library instruction. Access to electronic resources is available from off-campus via login with a Rutgers NetID and password.

Rutgers Off-Campus Housing Service - The Rutgers Off-Campus Housing Service offers informational, legal, and local resources to assist both landlords and tenants. The service also posts housing and roommate listings online. Rutgers faculty and staff may place an available space or roommate listing on the service's website for a discounted fee. Rutgers Cooperative Extension Services - Employees have free in person or telephone access to experts in horticulture, home economics, nutrition, and health care to answer questions about gardening, lawn care, food safety, home environment, and pest control, etc. The Rutgers Cooperative Extension Services (RCE) also provides free informational guides, assessment tools, online workshops, and Master Gardener services.

Rutgers Gardens & Log Cabin - Surrounded by woods in the botanical gardens on the Cook campus, the Rutgers Gardens/Log Cabin offers a covered pavilion near by the Rutgers Gardens. The 2008 rate for university employees and alumni is $500; the 2008 rate for a wedding ceremony or reception is $1200. Reservations can be made via email or by calling 732-932-8451.

Rutgers College Campus Centers - The Rutgers College Campus Centers, including the Busch Campus Center, Rutgers Student Center, and Student Activities Center can be used by Rutgers faculty and staff for personal events. Our recently renovated spaces are terrific for birthday parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, family reunions, and much more. Defensive Driving Course - By taking a Defensive Driving course, you may receive discounts on auto insurance, point reductions on driving records, improved driving habits and safety. Free workshops for all employees, low cost of $20 for family members, $15 eye test charge if test is required. You can register online and locate the Emergency Services schedule . Faculty and Staff Assistance Program - The Rutgers Faculty and Staff Assistance Program provides free confidential comprehensive counseling and referral services to university employees and their immediate families.

Tuition Remission - Regularly appointed faculty and staff may qualify for tuition remission for themselves and their dependent children as long as they meet certain conditions.

Athletic Events - Discounts on tickets to a large variety of university Athletic Events and other events.

Film Co-Op/NJ Media Arts Center - Free and low cost opportunities to watch independently produced films and meet the filmmakers brought to you by the Film Co-Op/NJ Media Arts Center. Many choices are available each semester from old favorites such as Citizen Kane to the recently produced Chaos. Theatres - The Rutgers University theaters present various concerts, shows, and exhibitions. The theaters offer discounts on many of the performances to Rutgers employees and alumni and also host free events and performances.
