Compensation and Benefits Statement

The Compensation and Benefits statement illustrates the commitment of Rutgers University to provide a comprehensive compensation and benefits program to employees. The benefits, including health, dental, prescription, retirement plans, tuition remission, and paid time off, enhance your financial security, well being, and add significantly to your total compensation.

Your personalized Compensation and Benefits Statement includes program descriptions, coverage, and cost information associated with each plan. The statement also provides the value of your life insurance, paid time off benefits (staff), and educational benefits.

Your annual total compensation provided on the statement is based upon the following:

• Actual Salary Paid
• Social Security Contributions
• Medicare Contributions
• Medical Plan Coverage and Contribution
• Dental Program and Contribution
• Retirement Plan Contributions
• Life and Disability Insurance Contributions

To access your annual statement, log in to the Compensation and Benefits Statement webpage. Your NetID is required to access your statement. If you do not have a NetID, you can obtain one through the Office of Information Technology (OIT).

NOTE: The plan name and level of coverage for your health benefits indicated on your statement, the university contribution and your contribution for the coverage and annual salary paid is usually as of December 31 of the prior year. Your statement is updated on an annual basis. It is advised that you print a copy each year for your own records.
