Death Of An Employee

Upon the death of an employee, the employee's family should notify you of the death.  The following information should be provided to you:

You should provide this information to University Human Resources by calling 732/932-3020, ext. 4004. After receiving the information from the department, we will notify the insurance company, retirement carriers and the Office of the Secretary of the University.  We will also contact the family to coordinate the transition of benefits.

If the deceased was on payroll at the time of death, submit a Personnel Data Record (PDR) to Payroll Services immediately.
