State Health Benefits Program - Information for
Part-Time Employees

Who Is Eligible

Part-time employees enrolled in a state-administered retirement plan are eligible to participate in the State Health Benefits Program (SHBP).

Payroll deduction is not available for this program. The NJ Division of Pensions and Benefits will bill you on a monthly basis. Invoices will be mailed to your home address.
