  1. How can the Center for Organizational Development and Leadership (ODL) help me assess my organization’s effectiveness?

    ODL facilitates a day-and-a-half Excellence in Higher Education (EHE) organizational self-assessment program.  These sessions bring together members of an organization – at all levels – to develop an inventory of achievements and challenges, and to outline clear priorities for future action.

  2. How can I gain insight into the needs, expectations, and organizational improvement ideas of colleagues / employees?

    Understanding needs, expectations and satisfaction levels of employees can be very helpful to assessing and improving an organization.  ODL's Organizational Climate Inventory (OCI) is a web-based survey designed to assist organizations in understanding faculty and staff needs and perceptions, and to help identify organizational issues and improvement opportunities.   4. Does your organization provide outside consulting?

    Yes, in support the university’s mission of service and outreach to the state, ODL shares its expertise with organizations across various sectors.  Requests for consulting assistance are reviewed individually and should be directed to Dr. Brent D. Ruben or Sherrie Tromp.
