Training on the Rutgers Visual Identity System
To support the use of the Rutgers Visual Identity System, University Human Resources and University Relations, in conjunction with other key units, offer the Communicator Certificate Program to guide university employees in the development of their unit's communications. Various courses are offered on the Visual Identity System and how to implement guidelines in the Visual Identity Manual and the revised Rutgers Editorial Style Guide.
A variety of classes are offered:

- Design Basics
- Developing a Communications Plan
- Communications Assessment
- Electronic Communications
- Planning Special Events
- Proofreading and Editing (reviews the Rutgers Editorial Style Guide)
- Using Campus Resources to Promote Departmental Events and Activities
- Writing and Design for the Web
