Certificate and Extended Learning Programs
Rutgers University offers a variety of certificate and extended series programs to build employee knowledge, skills, and abilities in a comprehensive and systematic way. A number of specialized programs are currently available to all full-time university employees:
- Academic Personnel Certificate Program
- Business/Accounting Certificate Program
- Communicator Certificate Program
- Departmental Research Administrator Conference
- HR Liaison Development Program
- Management Development Program
- Professional Work Skills Program
- Supervisor Development Program
There is no charge to the individual or to the department for these programs.
All employees who are hired or promoted into a business/accounting job title are expected to enroll in the Business/Accounting Certificate Program and employees hired or promoted into an external affairs job title are expected to enroll in the Communicator Certificate Program. If you are a new supervisor at Rutgers, we encourage you to enroll in the Supervisor Development Program.
