Discipline: Your Rights And Responsibilities
There may be an occasion during your employment at Rutgers where you might have disciplinary action taken against you. Should this occur, you need to be aware of your rights and responsibilities
Most Type 1 employees who have been the subject of formal, written disciplinary action have an avenue to appeal such actions.
There is also a Special Grievance Procedure for those employees not eligible for the University’s Problem Solving Procedure.
