RUconnection Card - Information for Visitors
Visiting Scholars and University Guests
Visiting scholars and other university guests may be sponsored by their departments to receive an RUconnection Card that grants them use of university services such as the library system and computer labs. This card does not grant access to recreational facilities. An RUconnection Card can be issued with the submission of an RUconnection ID Card Request Form signed by the department head requesting such privileges. Applicants will also be required to present a form of government-issued identification such as a passport or photo driver's license.
There is a $5.00 fee to have the card issued or renewed. The replacement fee for lost, stolen, missing, or damaged cards is $15.00.
Visiting scholar RUconnection Cards are issued for a period of up to one year, after which they must be renewed by submitting an updated request form, the expired card, and the associated fee.
Other Affiliated Individuals
Special RUconnection Guest or Affiliate Cards can be issued to individuals associated with certain organizations or departments such as PALS, campus ministries, UMDNJ joint programs, ROTC, NJ PIRG, etc. Please contact the department head or university liaison for information about how to be sponsored for an RUconnection Card.
