Each year, as part of the Staff Compensation Program (SCP) for administrative staff represented by the URA-AFT, Rutgers University supervisors conduct performance evaluations. This performance management process allows managers and employees to engage in thoughtful dialogue about the year’s performance and accomplishments, and to define goals and objectives for the coming performance year.
Supervisors must complete performance evaluations and notify employees of their appraisal ratings by April 30, 2017. In addition, the fiscal year 2017-2018 SCP provides for a salary increase pool of 2.25 percent of the aggregate salaries of eligible URA-AFT staff. This Program will be implemented effective July 1, 2017, for eligible 12-month employees, and September 1, 2017, for eligible 10-month employees. To read the SCP announcement, click here.
