Rutgers University, in partnership with the New Jersey Employees Charitable Campaign (NJECC), is encouraging employees to contribute and support many worthwhile programs through their participation in the annual NJECC pledge drive during the months of November and December.

As the State University of New Jersey, Rutgers participates in the annual NJECC pledge campaign by facilitating payroll deduction and one-time donations to more than 1,100 charitable organizations in New Jersey and beyond.  Whatever cause you’re personally passionate about, you can probably find it represented through the charitable organizations working through the NJECC. Contributing just a few dollars from each paycheck can make an impact in the lives of those in need and in the global community we serve.  Donations are tax deductible, and donations made through payroll deduction would begin with the first paycheck in calendar year 2018.

You may find instructions for logging into the NJECC pledge portal here.  Rutgers employees will receive a personalized email with a link taking them directly into the pledge portal -- please do not forward the email from the NJECC administrators, as it is coded to each individual employee.

Thank you in advance for your support of the New Jersey Employees Charitable Campaign, and if you have any questions about this program, please contact Jason Butkowski, Rutgers University’s liaison to the NJECC, at (848) 932-3894, or via email at jason.butkowski@rutgers.edu. You may also contact the New Jersey Employees Charitable Campaign Help Desk at help@charities.org, or via phone at (800) 458-9505.
