Medical, Prescription, and Dental Benefits

New 12-month employees are subject to a 60-day waiting period for state health benefits to become effective. Academic year employees beginning on September 1 will not be subject to the above waiting period. Employees who transfer from an eligible State Health Benefit Plan (SHBP) employer may be eligible to waive the 60-day waiting period.
