The Learning and Development unit in University Human Resources is committed to serving the needs of the Rutgers community, by offering a variety of management and professional development opportunities that foster continuous learning and align with the strategic goals of the university.

Individuals can select courses/workshops, extended learning, certificate programs, self study resources, coaching, and more. All programs and services are offered at no cost to departments or individual employees. Courses and workshops are available during normal work hours, and vary in length. Employees may attend on work time with the approval of a supervisor or take accrued time off if courses/workshops are for personal development.  Learning, development, and performance management consultation is available upon request.
