Dear Rutgers Colleagues,
March is Sleep Month at Rutgers Health, a time to focus on one of the most powerful (and often overlooked) drivers of well-being: quality sleep.
Sleep affects everything, energy, focus, mood, resilience, and overall health. Yet many of us struggle to get the restorative rest we need to perform at our best, both personally and professionally.
In recognition of Sleep Month, we invite you to join a special Lyra Health workshop designed to help you build healthier sleep habits, manage stress that interferes with rest, and create sustainable routines that support long-term wellness.
We hope you’ll join us.
Workshop Title: Getting Better Sleep: How to Optimize Your Time in Bed
Date: March 12, 2026
Time: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Description: We all know we need to sleep well. But how do we get enough? The science of sleep offers a ton of great strategies for falling asleep more quickly, staying asleep through the night, and feeling restored throughout the day. This workshop will walk you through the best practices for getting the rest you need—including how you can change your behavior to improve your sleep, how your sleep schedule influences your sleep quality, the role your mind plays in sleeplessness and strategies for quieting it, and how to overcome barriers to implementing the sleep strategies you already know.
