Frieda Hoffman, Conflict Navigation Specialist:
Frieda worked as a conflict and leadership coach, emergent facilitator and mediator, and organizational development consultant before joining Workplace Culture in August 2024. She brings an intuitive sense of people and relationships to her practice, merging 17 years of entrepreneurial and leadership experience with her unique background in intercultural conflict management and executive coaching. Frieda has a dual B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology from Johns Hopkins University and M.A. in Social Work from Alice Salomon University in Berlin, Germany. She continues to serve as an International Coaching Federation Professional Certified Coach mentor and teach core courses for the International Ombuds Association.
Cherekana Feliciano, Associate Conflict Navigation Specialist:
Cherekana is a proud Douglass College alumna with a B.A. in History and her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law. Prior to joining EmPaCT, she worked in the Civil Division of the New Jersey Courts, serving counties throughout the state. As part of her graduate work in conflict resolution, Cherekana had the opportunity to mediate civil cases in the District Court for Baltimore City. She later worked as a research assistant for the Center for Dispute Resolution at the University of Maryland (C-DRUM), where she explored various mediation techniques and their practical applications.
