Mental Health 101

We all have mental health, shaped by our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. This workshop explores what mental health is, why it matters, and how reducing stigma can help us support ourselves and others. Learn practical tools like mindfulness, self-care, and gratitude—and practice one skill together during the session.

Emotional Intelligence: The Secret to Getting Ahead at Work

Research shows that a significant portion of workplace success hinges on one crucial factor that may seem surprising: emotional intelligence. That’s right! Succeeding at work isn’t just about being quick, efficient, or the first one to get things right. It’s also about being able to identify, manage, and express emotions in a thoughtful and productive way. Thankfully, just like any other skill, emotional intelligence can be cultivated to better our well-being and improve our effectiveness and influence in the workplace. We’ll discuss research-backed strategies for setting expectations and protecting your mental health during common holiday stress, including how to find joy, navigate conflict, and make the most of the moments that matter.

Caring For You, Too: A Guide For Managing Caregiver Stress

While being a caregiver can often be a rewarding experience, it can also be a stressful one. Fortunately, there are strategies that can help pre-empt or relieve that stress. In this workshop, you will learn tools to manage both the practical and emotional challenges of caregiving. You will explore opportunities to support your own physical and mental health and consider how additional resources, such as caregiver support groups, can support your well-being. With these tools, you’ll be better equipped to care for yourself as you care for your loved one

Curbing Burnout: Your Guide to Prevention and Early Intervention

Reports of burnout are increasingly common, but there are several steps we can take to prevent burnout, enhance well-being at work, and ensure that our lives are more well-rounded and enriching. This workshop reviews the individual and organizational factors that can mitigate risk of burnout, as well as specific strategies for communicating more effectively at work, managing job-related stress, and preventing work from intruding on our personal lives and relationships with loved ones.
