University Human Resources has a variety of online systems that can guide you in your role at the university. Most of these applications require the use of a NetID. If you do not have a NetID, you may need to request one.

Employee Services

Absence Reporting System

Regular Rutgers staff may view their own current fiscal year absences.  Authorized department administrators can track employee absences daily.

Address Directory Update

Faculty and staff can update their home address, work and home telephone numbers, emergency contact information, and email address at this site.

Compassionate Leave Program For Donors

Staff may donate vacation or sick time to the bank or may request time from the bank for use.

Professional Development Enrollment

Individuals can enroll in a wide range of training programs and seminars offered through University Human Resources, Office of Information Technology, Emergency Services, Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, Accounting, and Division of Grants Contract Accounting.

Recruitment, Onboarding, and Classification System (ROCS)

Hiring Managers can manage the recruitment; selection and hiring of new staff employees.

Please note -- For security purposes, the administrative login for the Recruitment, Onboarding, and Classification System (ROCS) requires users to log in from a computer or other device on a trusted Rutgers network. If you would like to use this application from outside the Rutgers IT infrastructure, you will need to first connect to a virtual private network (VPN) service. You can do so by visiting the Office of Information Technology (OIT)’s VPN tool at http://ssl-vpn.rutgers.edu. Contact the OIT helpdesk if you require assistance in setting up a secure VPN into the Rutgers network.

Hiring Managers on the New Brunswick Campus can enroll new hires in the weekly New Employee Welcome and Benefits Orientation.

Staff Compensation Program Online System

This data entry/modeling system is available to designated users to facilitate the process of awarding performance increases to eligible URA-AFT employees.

Temporary Job Order Request

Hiring Managers can request temporary employment services.

This data entry/modeling system is available to designated users to facilitate the process of awarding performance increases to eligible managerial, professional, supervisory, or confidential employees.

Benefits and Transactional Services

Benefit Seminar Enrollment

Faculty and staff can enroll in variety of educational seminars related to retirement planning, financial management, home buying, and more. After you login with your Net ID, select the "Benefit Seminars" option to view a calendar.

Tax Deferral Limit

Faculty and staff can view their limit for making pre-tax contributions to a Tax Deferred Annuity plan.

RIAS Human Capital Management (HCM) System

The HCM system is web based software, which allows for the management of employee data and employee related transactions by designated University employees and Human Resources Professionals.  It contains special access for Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service.

Guardian I-9 System

The Guardian I-9 System allows for the creation of an electronic I-9 and its submission to E-Verify.
