Conflict Navigation

Conflict often occurs where diverse values, beliefs, and experiences create differences in how we relate to and work with one another. Those differences can cause friction in our relationships and in our communication and may lead to unhealthy workplaces if left unaddressed.

And while conflict seems to be all around us, few of us feel comfortable navigating it. Although it rarely feels great for those actively experiencing it, conflict isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Conflict within us (e.g. limiting beliefs), conflict with others (e.g. strained relationships or disagreements), and conflict across systems (e.g. workplace cultures) are catalysts for meaningful and positive change.

How we respond to conflict can transform how we move through it and the kinds of outcomes we’re able to create: more fulfilling engagements, greater understanding, stronger relationships, and a more resilient community. When we learn ways to navigate conflict constructively and holistically, we can harness its potential for transformation.

We understand that conflict can be difficult to manage, and EmPaCT is here to help.

With the right tools and resources, you can prevent lasting damage to – and even repair – important relationships, improve collaboration in the workplace, and move forward with greater conflict competence.
