Re: | Revised University Policies and Regulations |
The following university policies have been substantially revised and affect Rutgers employees as described below.
For all eligible employees:
60.2.1 Educational Benefits
This policy has been revised to include tuition remission for eligible dependents enrolled as part-time undergraduate students. The salary levels at which employees are eligible for 100 percent and 50 percent tuition remission have also been adjusted.
60.2.5 Retirement, Insurance, and Health Benefits
This policy has been updated to reflect changes in the State Health Benefits Program plan offerings and a revised description of certain employees eligible for long-term disability insurance.
For non-academic employees unless otherwise defined in a collective negotiations agreement:
60.3.4 Bereavement Leave
This policy reflects an expanded definition of “immediate family member.”
60.3.5 Sick Leave
This revision reflects a single definition of sick leave for care of self and others, and clarifies emergency attendance and medically certified care.
60.3.10 Vacation for Staff Members
The policy has been revised to reflect a change in the vacation accrual rate to 1.66 days per month after the completion of 10 years of service rather than after 12 years.
All personnel-related policies can be accessed through the University Policy Library.
