Employee Partners for Conflict Transformation (EmPaCT)

Navigating Workplace Challenges, Together.

We all experience conflict from time to time. Any vibrant organization has its disagreements and challenges, and Rutgers is no exception. Employee Partners for Conflict Transformation helps faculty and staff to navigate and resolve conflicts in a holistic and informal manner. An integral part of the University’s robust and evolving conflict management system, EmPaCT offers both preventive and responsive approaches to conflict and toward cultivating a respectful, thriving workplace culture.

Please note that all faculty and staff are welcome to register for workshops and request customized trainings for their teams; however, EmPaCT's coaching, facilitated dialogue and mediation support are currently limited to non-aligned employees.

Conflict arises from diverse values and beliefs, but when navigated constructively, it can lead to positive change, stronger relationships, and a more resilient community, and EmPaCT provides the tools to manage and transform these challenges effectively.
