Effective July 1, 2026, Horizon will be transitioning the administrator for the Horizon MyWay FSA program.
- Why is this change happening?
-
Horizon is transitioning to a new administrator for the Horizon MyWay Flexible Spending Account (FSA) program effective July 1, 2026. This change applies only to the administration of the FSA and does not affect your eligibility or election amounts.
- Will my FSA balance be affected?
-
No. All existing account balances, enrollments, and claims history will be securely transferred to the new platform.
- Can I use my current FSA debit card during the transition period?
-
No. FSA debit cards will not work between June 8 and June 30, 2026. A new debit card will be mailed to you in June for use beginning July 1, 2026.
- What if I have medical or dependent care expenses between June 8 and June 30?
-
You may need to pay out of pocket during this period. Eligible expenses can be reimbursed by submitting a paper claim to Horizon MyWay. Claims submitted during the transition will be held and processed beginning July 1, 2026.
- Will I lose access to the Horizon MyWay app during the transition?
-
Yes. The Horizon MyWay feature within the Horizon Blue app will be unavailable from June 8 through June 30, 2026.
- Will I be able to complete my enrollment if I am within my new hire enrollment window during the blackout period?
-
Yes. Employees hired in June should forward their enrollment forms to the OneSource Center for processing.
- If my FSA is effective May 1 or June 1, will I receive a debit card and be able to use my funds through June 8?
-
No. Debit cards will not be mailed after May 7. New hires after May 7 will receive a new card on or before July 1, 2026. Accounts will become active in the new system based on eligibility—30 days after hire for Dependent Care and 60 days after hire for Unreimbursed Medical.
- If I am hired between now and June 30, where should I complete my enrollment and how will my enrollment window be affected?
-
To enroll, please complete the FSA Enrollment Form and return the completed form to the OneSource Center or call 866-999-3531 on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET. Coverage will become active based on eligibility—30 days after hire for Dependent Care and 60 days after hire for Unreimbursed Medical.
- Do I need to take any action right now?
-
No immediate action is required. However, you may want to plan ahead for anticipated expenses during the suspension period. Please also watch for additional communications from Horizon with more details.
